How did this start?
"I have come to the conviction that if you cannot translate your thoughts into uneducated language, then your thoughts were confused" - C. S. Lewis
Many can learn a topic, few can explain it to someone else. This project began with me realizing I can do neither very well. On the Christmas of 2025 my dad gifted me a small, yellow book about math called "Perturbations of Banach Algebras". I enjoy learning math, but I couldn't begin understand this book, not even the preface. I researched the concepts, but I couldn't find anything that really clicked. At some point an analogy came up that I was crossing a canyon with no proper bridge. The idea stuck, and I came to the conviction that I would make the journey, then build a bridge for others to follow. Hence the term "There and Back Again".
